ANSSI
The ANSSI (Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d'Information) was created in 2009 by the French state. The ANSSI's mission is to defend the State's information systems but also to advise and support administrations and operators of vital importance.
At present, the ANSSI has refocused its activity on raising awareness of the Cyber risk of administrations, companies and individuals.
To raise awareness of the risks, the ANSSI has set up a MOOC accessible to all which is called SecNumAcademy.
There are also guides for government agencies, businesses or individuals. Here are some of them:
- Cybersecurity for VSEs/SMEs in twelve questions
- Securing a website
- Multi-factor authentication and password recommendations
You can find all of ANSSI's guides and recommendations at this address: https://www.ssi.gouv.fr/entreprise/bonnes-pratiques/
In September 2020, the government created a device called "France Relance" to develop future sectors. This device includes a cybersecurity component with a €136 million fund, which the ANSSI has recovered its management. More information on https://www.ssi.gouv.fr/agence/cybersecurite/france-relance/
